MECHANICAL DESIGN
PING Productie Servicii Comert is able to cover all steps in the cycle of developing a new product from concept generation to product definition.
2D DESIGN
3D DESIGN
In an initial stage we can work together with you to transform your ideas into product concepts, which can be presented in the form of 2D-scale drawings, colored and highlighted renderings or 3D computer-aided models. We are also able to offer mechanical design that includes the conversion of a 2D print into a 3D solid model or a full assembly design.
PROTOTYPE
RTV Silicone Molds & Cast Polyurethane (PU)
RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanized) silicone molds represent the most inexpensive way to create duplicates of a prototype part/master pattern in quantities from one up to tens of pieces. They duplicate the details of the original part in a fast and accurate way (± 0.1 – 0.3 mm).
The prototype part can be supplied by the customer or we can make a master pattern according to the customer’s sketches, using our CAD-CAM capabilities.
PU has a broad range of material properties, from flexible to hard, cast-in colored or simulating the injection moldings. PU castings can also be machined, sanded, glued and painted.
Besides PU, in silicone molds it is possible to cast also other pourable materials as: epoxy, polyester, plaster, cement.
In this way we can serve a wide variety of customers’ needs: sales and marketing demos, conceptual and functional models, pre-production parts, low volume production, rapid and inexpensive test assemblies, etc.
Sheet Metal
Sheet Metal prototyping represents a real challenge for companies whose new products include sheet metal components.
PING – Productie Servicii Comert keeps a tight relationship with companies specialized in laser cutting, powder coating and metal plating. Thus we can deliver a complete product, ready for use.
Models and molds for the production of thermoformed parts or fiberglass reinforced polyester (GRP)
We design and execute such products using our CAD-CAM capabilities, both for prototype (made of MDF or PU/epoxy boards) and for the series production (made of aluminum or aluminum filled epoxy ).
